Compete for Good.
You've come to the right place. We encourage you to look at what this year's competition is and work with your chapter to determine if you want to compete. If ever in doubt, reach out to the NEST team.
This year's competition...
Resource Insecurity
Resource insecurity is a widespread issue on a national and international scale. In the United States, millions of households currently struggle to meet their basic needs of food and running water. Beyond these difficulties, many individuals encounter several other deficiencies in access to healthcare, adequate housing, electricity, and sanitation. These issues are particularly prevalent within marginalized and rural communities. Your project should aim to create solutions that address the necessary resources for a healthy and fulfilling life through analysis on a local or global scale.
What forms of scarcity will you consider while you are designing this year’s NEST EGG? We challenge you to create novel solutions to the pressing issue of resource insecurity. No idea is too small or big, but remember, you are challenged to come up with a feasible solution. Think critically and have fun solving this challenge!
