Compete for Good.

You've come to the right place. We encourage you to look at what this year's competition is and work with your chapter to determine if you want to compete. If ever in doubt, reach out to the NEST team.

This year's competition...

Mitigating the Impact
of Natural Disasters

Natural Disasters are an ever-present issue with profound impact on human lives as well as our current infrastructure. Every year, roughly 50,000 human lives are lost globally due to natural disasters. These events have devastating consequences, especially in regions with limited access to modern infrastructure, safety systems, and disaster relief. Your project should aim to mitigate the challenges that humans face when living in disaster-prone areas.

We challenge you to consider preemptive, mid-crisis, and/or rehabilitative measures to alleviate the impact of natural disasters. How will your NEST EGG address the challenges faced in your selected scenario? Make sure to consider the feasibility, applicability, and versatility of your solution. We look forward to seeing the intuitive designs that you create!
